You will have a major part in giving patients of all ages with a wide range of acute and chronic medical issues excellent medical treatment as a Nurse Practitioner at Baptist Health Urgent Treatment. You will diagnose, treat, and educate patients while maintaining the greatest level of care and service by collaborating with a team of healthcare experts. Our full-time providers perform twelve-hour weekday shifts and every other weekend, totaling 36–40 hours per week.

What are you Required to Do when you're Hired?

2.) Treat patients, guests, and coworkers with the highest standards of customer service.

3.) Assist everyone who walks through our door seeking health-related services with convenient, amiable patient care.

4.) In an emergency, lead, direct, and aid while keeping a calming and consoling presence for patients.

5.) Long and unpredictable hours, shifting locations, and constant and frequent interaction with others are all part of the fast-paced, high-stress work environment.

6.) Performs primary care, urgent care, occupational health, DOT physicals, workers compensation, and other medical assessments, treatments, and follow-ups for clinic patients.

7.) carries out medical operations such as sutures, pap tests, injections, splinting, abscess incision and drainage, and wound repairs.

8.) establishes and oversees a level of care for clinic patients that is medically acceptable.

9.) oversees, coordinates, and provides support for on-site laboratory, x-ray, injection, and, if necessary, collection services for direct access services.

10.) keeps up clinical core competencies.

11.) ensures that operations adhere to medical policy and professional standards by working with Centre Leadership and other staff members.

12.) collaborates and takes part in the creation, application, and modification of policies that impact patient happiness, medical practice, and care quality.

13.) Takes part in and helps with continuing education and in-service programs for doctors, nurses, and other staff members who work for or are connected to the company.

14.) suggests possible strategies for the Center's new and/or current services' expansion and improvement.

15.) ensures adherence to accrediting, certification, and licensing authorities.

16.) takes part in the creation and delivery of staff training programs.

17.) At internal and external meetings and events, represents the company and the clinic as reasonably required.

18.) advises other medical staff members (such as nurse practitioners, medical assistants, and physician assistants) to guarantee patient happiness and high-quality professional services.

What does This Company Require from You?

  • Although previous provider experience is desirable, recent graduates are still encouraged to apply!
