
Paralympic bronze medallist Eniola Bolaji has claimed gold at the 2025 Spanish Para Badminton International tournament in Vitoria, further cementing her status as one of Africa’s finest para-badminton players.
The multiple-time African champion delivered a dominant performance in the women’s singles SL3 final, defeating Ukraine’s Oksana Kozyba 2-0 (21-15, 21-15) to secure the title.
Bolaji’s journey to gold was nothing short of spectacular. She started strong in the group stage, beating Brazil’s Kauana Michelson Beckenka 2-0 (21-15, 21-2) and France’s Caroline Bergeron 2-0 (21-7, 21-8). She then powered through the quarterfinals with a 2-0 (21-8, 21-12) victory over Australia’s Celine Vinot.
In the semifinals, she showcased her brilliance once again, outclassing India’s Neeraj 2-0 (21-12, 21-6) to book her place in the final.
