
Super Eagles and Kano Pillars captain, Ahmed Musa, has been honored with the Abdul Momoh Ambassadorial Award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the development of photography in Nigeria.
Musa received the award on Saturday, ahead of Kano Pillars’ NPFL Matchday 28 clash against Kwara United in Ilorin. The award was presented by CAF-accredited photojournalist, Mr. Abdul Momoh, acknowledging Musa’s support for sports photography and media development in the country.
Expressing his gratitude, Musa MON, OON, described the award as a morale booster and a source of encouragement to continue supporting sports development.
“I’m highly honored and delighted with this award. This is another encouragement to do more for the nation’s sports sector.”
Meanwhile, Musa has been recalled to the Super Eagles squad by Coach Erick Sekou Chelle for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe, marking his return to the national team after a brief absence
His inclusion underscores his dedication and commitment to Nigerian football, both at home and on the international stage.
