El-Kanemi Warriors goalkeeper, Oladipo Kolawole, has urged his teammates to put their defeat against Rivers United behind them and focus on facing Simioben FC with a winning mindset in the President Federation Cup Round of 64 on Wednesday, March 19, 2025.
In a brief chat with Ijoba Sports News, Oladipo expressed confidence in his team’s ability to bounce back from the home loss to Rivers United and secure victory against Simioben FC.
“This is another opportunity for us to win this title again. We won it last season, and we’ll prove ourselves once more this year. The Rivers United game is behind us; now, we are fully focused on working for a positive result,” he said.
The former U-20 goalkeeper acknowledged the high expectations placed on El-Kanemi Warriors, emphasizing the importance of meeting those expectations with top performances in the competition.
El-Kanemi Warriors will take on Simioben FC on Wednesday, March 19, at 4 PM, live at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium in Bauchi.
