As El-Kanemi Warriors prepare to travel to Katsina on Sunday for their Matchday 30 clash against Katsina United in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), goalkeeper Oladipo Kolawole has urged his teammates to approach the game with the same winning spirit they displayed against Simioben FC in the President Federation Cup.
Speaking with an Ijoba Sports News reporter, Oladipo emphasized the importance of securing a crucial result in Katsina.
“Nothing is impossible in football. Our mission in Katsina is to win, nothing else. We defeated them 1-0 at home in the first leg, and our target is to do the same away,” he stated.
Oladipo also stressed the need for El-Kanemi Warriors to work hard and climb higher from their current 10th position on the league table.
El-Kanemi Warriors currently sit in 10th place with 40 points, while Katsina United are in 14th place with 36 points.
Katsina United will host El-Kanemi Warriors on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at Muhammad Dikko Stadium, with kickoff set for 4 PM.
