Remo Stars Ladies’ Ghanaian goalkeeper, Adjei Charlotte, has been named in the Nigeria Women Football Awards (NWF) Team of the Week following her outstanding performance in Matchweek 7 of the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL).
The weekly list, recognizing top performers across the league, features two players from Rivers Angels, Mary Moses and Effiong Peace, as well as two Bayelsa Queens stars, Iheoma Chinyere and Alabi Olabiyi.
Also making the lineup are Awori Opeyemi (Dannaz Ladies), Ezinne Wokocha and Faith Samson (Heartland Queens), Mafisere Kafayat (Edo Queens), Kafayat Bashiru (Remo Stars Ladies), and Mary Lucky (Abia Angels).
Abia Angels head coach, Adanna Nwaneri, has been named Coach of the Week for her impressive tactical display.
With the second round of the NWFL set to kick off soon, football fans eagerly anticipate more thrilling performances from the league’s top talents.
